I loved Kat as a dance instructor! Us friends recently hired her for group salsa lessons for 6 weeks. It was so awesome to be able to share the experience with friends and have our own private amazing teacher! Having all 6 of us do it together made it so much more fun, we felt like we got real personal attention and it also allowed us friends to get together instead of drinking at a bar - move our bodies and have a new fun skill! Seeing eachother and dancing made is so FUN!!! Kat is so patient, and thorough, such a great cheerleader and super inspiring! I highly recommend taking classes from her! Great idea to do it like we did too, if she’s offering group classes in 2024. We all enjoyed it so much and we are looking forward to doing it again soon this New Year! Maybe some swing Kat!

Kat is a wonderful dance teacher! My fiancé and I have been taking salsa classes together with her for several months, and we couldn’t be happier. We started with absolutely no ballroom dance experience, and now we feel very comfortable on the dance floor. But you still have to put in the work!

Kat makes sure to listen to your questions and goals when it comes to dance. She is prepared for every lesson, and I feel the price is reasonable for a couple learning together. This is a great chance to finally pull the trigger if you’ve been curious about salsa or ballroom dance.

Kat is an amazing dance teacher and you will not regret working with her.

My partner and I took private salsa lessons with Kat for about 2 years. I had danced salsa before on my college dance team, and my partner had two left feet. We wanted to dance salsa as a hobby and get comfortable on the dance floor for social dancing.

We tried lessons with other dance instructors but had negative experiences – some teachers were even condescending. We were so lucky to come across Kat. She is incredibly patient and was able to craft lessons that addressed both of our dancing levels / experience. My partner has gone from not being able to recognize a salsa rhythm to confidently putting together dance sequences. I have grown a lot as a follower – learning how to take cues and add in styling.

One of my favorite things about dancing with Kat is she is so knowledgeable. She was a wealth of knowledge on the background and history of various moves, as well as the physical mechanics of how the moves work.

If you want to learn a lot and have a great time doing so, I highly recommend dancing with SalsaKat.
