Brought my partner down last Saturday to pick up two guinea pigs. The girl who helped us was extremely nice and when she needed help with the till or gathering stuff for us none of her older more experienced co-workers were bothered to assist her. Additionally there was a worker smoking inside by the till.

All well and good until Sunday my partner discovered one of the pigs had a abundance of small whiite cysts under his coat. We rang the vet and organised an appointment and got an earliest of tuesday (yesterday at time of writing this). In between the call and the appointment the other guinea pig seemed to develop these cysts and on top of it the first piggy we noticed the cysts on had now a rather circular area on his nose with no hair and red and white lumps with a small hole in the center.
Forwarding to the vet appointment. The Vet confirmed they both had Ringworm and mites and that the original piggy had spread it to his sibling and that it had been present for longer than 5 days.

I left and instantly rang Davy's and on the 5th call they answered and told me "Dave" was not in and they would call me today. Still no call and when I rang to see, the phone would ring out. Ill keep.trying but regardless. The experience of shopping here was soured and would not recommend going here. Quite a few reputable shops that sell healthy animals in Dublin and Kildare. Reptile Haven and Shaunas Pets to name two. Stay away from here.

Best Pet shop I’ve ever seen, the exotic animals they have are amazing like big snails, chinchillas, birds, good variety of fish and a big selection of reptiles like snakes, spiders, geckos, chameleon and dragons even big roaches and millipedes. They guys working there know their stuff and will tell you everything you need to know, they also have kits for most animals that they sell. Really Recommend

Could not recommend Davys pet shop enough! The staff are fantastic there!! Wide variety of reptiles birds and fish to select from , just bought a baby bearded dragon yesterday and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful with giving me information on caring for my new friend

Tip top quality animals in very nice enclosures.
If you don't get it here, you won't get ot anywhere.

Can't say enough good things about Davy's pets! We went to take a look at snakes as I finally relented and agreed my daughter could have one. We didn't plan to bring anything home today, but Declan was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable, taking plenty of time to discuss the different options and letting my daughter handle a couple of the snakes, that we came home with a new friend and and full setup. I was shocked that the price was so reasonable for a full setup and actually asked how much extra the snake would be - it was included in the price!!!!!!

Brilliant pet shop with super staff and healthy animals. Well worth a trip!

Our new friend is a female anery motley corn snake, and my daughter it delighted with her! ?

Wonderful store Everything is wonderful and interesting My children love to go there to see the animals, but unfortunately there is one problem that it is not very clean, I would like the owner to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the store and the fish section.
